This document is an integral part of our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By accessing or using AIDRank.com (hereinafter: the "Website", the "Service", "AIDRank", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this Website you accept these terms in full. These terms apply to every visitor, whether or not you create an account, and whether or not you pay for anything. Scanning a domain without an account is still use of the Service and is still covered by these terms.
Where you accept these terms on behalf of a company, organisation or any other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind it, and every reference to "you" in this document then refers to that entity as well as to you personally.
These terms are written in English and in the masculine form for convenience only, and they are intended equally for all users. The section headings exist to help you navigate and carry no interpretive weight.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone, at any time, at our sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
2. Who May Use the Service
By using the Website you represent and warrant that all of the following are true, and that they remain true for as long as you use it:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or you are acting on behalf of an entity through a person who is
- You have the legal capacity and the authority to enter into these terms
- Your use of the Website complies with every law that applies to you, including in your own country
- You are not located in, resident in, or acting on behalf of anyone in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions or trade restrictions, and you are not a person or entity named on any applicable sanctions or restricted party list
The last point is not a formality and it is not about us. The Service works by sending your request to AI providers who are themselves bound by export controls and sanctions regimes. When you scan a domain, we pass that request on to them. If you are subject to a restriction that applies to them, you must not use the Service, and using it is a breach of these terms regardless of whether we noticed.
We do not verify any of this, and the responsibility for it is entirely yours.
3. What a Score Is and What It Is Not
This section matters more than any other in this document. Please read it in full.
An AIDRank score is a record of how large language models answered a specific set of questions we put to them about a domain name, at a specific moment, with their web access switched off. It measures one thing only: what a model happens to recall about a domain from its training. Nothing else.
A score is the model's recollection. It is not a fact, and it is not our opinion. We do not evaluate, rate, review, audit, endorse, or pass judgment on any business, website, product or person. We ask a machine a question and we write down what it said.
Accordingly, and without limitation, an AIDRank score is not and must not be read as any of the following:
- An assessment of the quality, reliability, safety, legitimacy, financial standing or professional competence of any business or website
- An indication of whether a business is successful, trustworthy, recommended, or worth doing business with
- A rating, review, ranking, certification, credit score, endorsement or seal of approval of any kind
- A statement of fact about any business, its owners, its operations or its history
- Professional, financial, legal, marketing or investment advice
- A prediction of commercial results of any kind
A low score does not mean a business is bad. It means an AI model did not recall much about that domain. Excellent, well established and highly reputable businesses can score low, and this is common. The reverse is also true. A high score means a model remembered a lot, and says nothing about whether what it remembered is accurate or whether the business deserves it.
Language models are known to produce answers that are outdated, incomplete, or simply wrong, including answers stated with full confidence. A model may place a business in the wrong industry or the wrong country, may confuse it with a different business, or may invent details. We report what the model said without correcting it, because the model's mistake is itself the finding. Neither the score nor anything the model states about a domain is verified by us, and none of it should be relied upon as accurate.
The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only. Any decision you make on the basis of a score is entirely your own, and you carry the full consequences of it.
4. Scanning Domains
Scanning is available to any visitor, on any domain, at no charge and without an account. A scan involves no contact whatsoever with the domain being scanned. We do not crawl it, connect to it, read it, or interact with it in any way. The only thing that leaves our servers is the domain name itself, sent as a question to the AI providers listed in section 10.
You may scan a domain you do not own, including a competitor's. We have no way to prevent this and we make no attempt to. What you may then do with the result is limited by section 5.
Scanning is subject to fair use limits per hour and per day, applied automatically, in order to keep the Service available and to prevent automated abuse. These limits may change at any time without notice. Attempting to circumvent them, including through multiple accounts, proxies or automation, is a breach of these terms.
We do not guarantee that any scan will succeed, complete, or return a result at all. A scan depends on third parties responding to us, and they sometimes do not.
5. Your Results
Scan results shown to you, and the dashboard history of any domain you track, are for your own internal use and analysis. They are yours to look at, think about, and act on as you see fit within your own organisation.
You may not publish, republish, broadcast, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise make available to the public any score or result concerning a domain you do not own. In particular, and without limitation, you may not present a score as a rating, ranking or evaluation of a third party, and you may not use a score in advertising, in comparative marketing, or in any public claim about another business.
This restriction exists because a score is easily mistaken for a verdict on a business, which it is not, as set out in section 3. Publishing one out of context misrepresents both that business and this Service.
We do not publish scores ourselves. We operate no public leaderboard, no public directory and no public rankings. We will not contact a domain owner about their score because someone else looked them up.
A score belongs to a domain, not to a user. Because scanning is open to everyone, anyone who scans the same domain will see the same number. What is private is your account, your tracked list and your history, not the fact that a domain has a score. We also have no technical ability to stop a user from taking a screenshot, and we accept no responsibility for what any user does with a result in breach of this section.
6. Domain Slots
A domain slot allows you to keep one domain in your dashboard, where it is re-scanned automatically on a recurring basis and its history is retained. Slots are purchased in packs, and multiple purchases accumulate in your account.
A slot is assigned to a specific domain and remains with that domain permanently. It cannot be moved, reassigned, transferred to another user, resold, or released, including where the domain is hidden from your dashboard. Hiding a domain is a display preference only. The slot remains occupied and the domain continues to be scanned. If you wish to track a different domain, an additional slot is required.
What "lifetime" and "never expires" actually mean. A slot does not renew and does not expire on any date, and there is nothing for you to cancel. It remains active for as long as AIDRank continues to operate as an active service. It is not a promise of perpetual service, and it cannot be, because the Service depends on third parties described in section 10. If AIDRank ceases to operate, slots cease with it, and no refund or compensation of any kind will be due.
The scanning frequency, the number of AI models queried, the metrics measured, and the method of calculating a score may all change over time at our discretion, and a purchased slot carries no entitlement to any particular one of them.
7. Payment and No Refunds
Payments are processed by PayPal. Your payment details are handled entirely by PayPal and never reach our servers. Your purchase is also subject to PayPal's own terms, which are between you and them. Slots are credited to your account once PayPal confirms the payment has cleared.
Prices are stated in USD and may change at any time. A change never affects a purchase already completed. You are solely responsible for any tax, duty, currency conversion cost or payment provider fee that applies to you in your own jurisdiction.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. A domain slot is a digital service made available to you immediately upon payment, and by completing a purchase you expressly request that it be made available immediately and acknowledge that no refund will be due once it has been.
In particular, no refund will be due where a score is lower than you expected, where a score does not change over time, where a model does not recognise your domain, where you assigned a slot to a domain by mistake, where you no longer own or use the domain, or where you simply changed your mind.
If a payment cleared and no slots appeared, that is not a refund matter, it is a fault on our side. Contact us and we will credit the slots you paid for.
8. Your Account
An account is required only in order to use the dashboard. Accounts are created through Google sign in, which means we never see or store a password of yours. Your Google account security is a matter between you and Google, and we have no control over it or visibility into it.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe it has been accessed by someone else. One account is for one person or one organisation, and creating multiple accounts to circumvent fair use limits is a breach of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, without notice and without refund of any purchased slots.
9. Domain Removal Requests
If you own or control a domain and you do not want it measured by AIDRank, you may ask us to remove it. Write to info@aidrank.com with the domain name and your request.
We will require you to demonstrate control of the domain before we act. This is not a formality and it protects domain owners rather than us. Without verification, anyone could remove data relating to a business that is not theirs. Acceptable proof includes any one of the following:
- A message sent from an email address at the domain itself
- A DNS TXT record that we will ask you to publish, containing a value we provide
- A file that we will ask you to place at a specific path on the website
- WHOIS records publicly showing your name or organisation as the registrant
Once control is verified, we will stop scanning the domain, delete its scan history, and add it to a blocklist so that it cannot be scanned again through the Website. Any slot assigned to that domain by any user is thereby exhausted, and no refund will be due to that user, since the removal was requested by the domain owner and not caused by us.
Submitting a removal request for a domain you do not control, or providing false information in support of one, is a breach of these terms and may be unlawful.
We may also decline to scan, or remove, any domain at our sole discretion and without giving reasons.
10. Dependence on Third-Party AI Providers
AIDRank has no AI models of its own. The entire Service consists of putting questions to models operated by third parties, currently Anthropic and OpenAI, and reporting their answers. We are their customer, exactly as you might be. We have no influence over them of any kind.
This means the Service is exposed to their decisions, and so are you. Without limitation, any of the following may occur at any time, without notice to us and therefore without notice to you:
- A provider releases a new model version, which may score your domain differently from the previous one, in either direction
- A provider retires a model, changes its behaviour, changes its pricing, or changes its terms of use
- A provider restricts, suspends, blocks or terminates our access, with or without cause
- A provider becomes unavailable in a particular country or ceases operating entirely
- Regulation, export controls or a court order restrict a provider or restrict our use of it
Should any of these occur, we may add models, remove models, replace models, change the scoring method, suspend scanning, or discontinue the Service in whole or in part, with or without notice, and no refund or compensation of any kind will be due. Where a model is replaced or removed, historical scores produced by the previous model may no longer be comparable with new ones, and we make no undertaking that any score remains comparable over time.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, pricing, accuracy or content of any AI provider, and nothing in these terms makes us their agent or representative. The same applies to Google, PayPal, our hosting provider, and every other third party the Service depends on. You irrevocably waive any claim against us arising from anything any of them does or fails to do.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of it. Prohibited behaviour includes, without limitation:
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its accounts, its database or its related systems
- Transmitting harmful or malicious code of any kind
- Scraping, automating, bulk querying, or otherwise using the Service other than through the interface we provide
- Circumventing fair use limits, whether through multiple accounts, proxies, automation or any other means
- Reselling, sublicensing, or providing the Service to third parties as if it were your own
- Using the Service, its results or its methodology to build, train or operate a product or service that competes with AIDRank
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive our scoring method or the questions we put to the models
- Taking advantage of any bug, error or omission that a reasonable person would recognise as unintended
- Publishing scores of domains you do not own, in breach of section 5
- Using a score to harass, disparage, defame or apply pressure to any business or person
- Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with one
- Providing false details, including in a domain removal request under section 9
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, damage, cost or expense of any kind, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or any use you or anyone on your behalf makes of a score.
12. Intellectual Property
The Website, its content, its design, its scoring methodology, its metric definitions, and the AIDRank name and marks are and remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish or create derivative works from any of it without our prior written permission, except that you may use your own scan results as permitted in section 5.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Website for your own internal purposes. Nothing beyond that is granted, expressly or by implication.
Domain names, business names and trademarks belonging to third parties and appearing on the Website belong to their respective owners. Their appearance implies no affiliation with, or endorsement by, either them or us. This includes the names of the AI providers referred to in section 10, who are not affiliated with us in any way beyond being our suppliers.
If you believe anything on the Website infringes your intellectual property rights, write to info@aidrank.com and we will look into it. We may need your cooperation to investigate.
13. Aggregate and Anonymised Data
We may use data derived from the operation of the Service, in aggregated and de-identified form, in order to operate, measure, improve and develop the Service, and in order to produce and publish research, benchmarks, statistics, industry reports and similar material.
For example, we may publish a figure such as the average AI visibility of domains in a given sector, or how scores shifted after a new model version was released. Material of this kind is only ever published in aggregated form. It will not identify you, it will not identify your account, and it will not reveal which domains you track.
We own all rights in such aggregated and de-identified data and in anything derived from it, and no attribution to you is owed. This section does not permit us to publish an individual score in a way that identifies a specific domain, which we do not do.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free, or free of malfunction, nor that any score is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive, and whether financial or otherwise, arising from or connected with:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Website
- Any score, any answer given by an AI model, or any error, omission or inaccuracy in either
- Any decision taken by you or by anyone else on the basis of a score
- Any act, omission, change, outage or termination on the part of an AI provider, PayPal, Google, our hosting provider, or any other third party
- Any loss of data, any interruption of the Service, or any discontinuation of the Service
- Any use made of a score by another user in breach of section 5
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Where you have paid us nothing, our aggregate liability to you is zero.
You are solely responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you need. We have no obligation to store, export or hand over any data to you under any circumstance.
15. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Website, or any feature of it, at any time and at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
We may modify these terms at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and it takes effect upon publication. Where a change is material we will make reasonable efforts to give notice under section 16, but your continued use of the Website after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Please check the last updated date at the top of this page from time to time.
16. Notices
Any notice you send us must go to info@aidrank.com or through our contact page. Nothing sent anywhere else counts as notice to us.
We may give you notice by publishing it on the Website, by displaying a banner or message within it, or by writing to the email address associated with your account. Any of these is valid notice, and it takes effect when published or sent, whether or not you read it. Keeping the details on your account current is your responsibility.
17. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms, including any domain slot, to anyone else without our prior written consent.
We may assign these terms, and every right and obligation in them, without your consent, to any successor, including by way of a merger, an acquisition, a sale of assets, a reorganisation into a company, or by operation of law, provided the successor assumes our obligations under them. Your slots and your account carry across to the successor unchanged.
Why this section exists. A slot is meant to last for as long as the Service does, and a service that lasts is a service that may one day change hands or change legal structure. This section makes sure that when it does, what you bought moves with it rather than ending with it.
18. General
Any section of these terms that by its nature is meant to outlast your use of the Service continues to apply after your account is closed or your use ends. This includes, without limitation, sections 3, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18 and 19. Closing your account does not release you from the restriction on publishing scores in section 5.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Website, and supersede any prior representation, correspondence or understanding not set out here. We are not bound by any term or condition you send us in any document or message, whether or not we object to it.
We are independent of you. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between us, and neither of us can bind the other.
Nobody who is not a party to these terms has any right to enforce any part of them.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or replaced to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of these terms stay in full force. A failure or delay by us in enforcing any right is not a waiver of that right, and a waiver on one occasion is not a waiver on any other.
In these terms, the word "including" always means "including but not limited to". These terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms, the Website, and the entire relationship between you and us are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising between the parties shall be brought before the competent court in Hadera, Israel, and before no other forum. This applies wherever in the world you are.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute between us will be resolved on an individual basis only, and not as part of a class action, a representative action, or any consolidated proceeding.
Nothing in this section prevents us from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court against unauthorised use of the Service, breach of section 5, or infringement of our intellectual property.
20. Contact Us
